LatAm steel trade deficit narrows in November
Latin America's steel trade deficit narrowed sequentially in November 2023 to 1.92 million tonnes. This was almost 0.9% smaller than in October and 35.3% down year-on-year, Kallanish learns from steel producers association Alacero data.
The 11-month deficit was almost 19mt, widening by 48.5% compared with 12.8mt in the same period a year earlier.
