Brazil leads LatAm February steel exports to US
Latin America saw steel exports to the US decrease month-on-month in February. Year-on-year, however, the exports were higher. This was mainly a result of higher supply from Brazil, which took over the leading position from Mexico as the largest exporter to the US and the second-largest globally, Kallanish notes.
Latin America in this context includes South and Central American countries together with Mexico.
