Kardemir closes rebar sales after contracting 30,000t
Kardemir published a new price list and opened sales for rebar and wire rod on Wednesday, Kallanish notes.
Rebar in diameters of 12-32mm and 36-40mm were each decreased by TRY 617/tonne ($31.2/t) to TRY 13,263/t and TRY 13,353/t, respectively, versus Kardemir’s previous list on 30 March.
Prices for 5.5-56mm diameter wire rod have been kept unchanged at $655-695/t, from Kardemir's previous list on 11 May.
