Kardemir struggles to sell rebar amid weak sentiment
Kardemir published a new price list and opened domestic sales for rebar and sections on Wednesday, Kallanish notes.
Rebar in diameters of 12-32mm and 36-40mm were each increased by TRY 335/tonne ($10.8/t) to TRY 19,500/t and TRY 19,650/t, respectively, versus Kardemir’s previous list on 1 February.
Sections prices, meanwhile, have been pegged at $700-905/t.
Prices quoted are ex-works and exclude 18% VAT.
