E-Commodities sees more price risks for coking coal
China-based trading firm E-Commodities sees more price risks to the downside than the upside for coking coal due to seasonal weakness in the coming months.
The firm's senior business manager, Jeffrey Lu, said at last week’s Singapore Coking Coal Conference attended by Kallanish he sees the weakening Chinese yuan weighing on Chinese coking coal import demand.
He also said El Niño has reduced supply concerns for the second half of 2023.
