Coking coal rises marginally on Indian pre-monsoon stocking
Australian fob coking coal prices rose marginally during the week ended 12 May, as buying interest emerged on India's restocking activities.
Kallanish assessed premium hard coking coal at $242.54/tonne fob Australia, up slightly from $240.89/t fob the previous week.
On the Singapore Exchange, Premium Coking Coal Futures for June settled at $231/t fob on Friday, down $13.33/t from $244.33/t fob a week earlier.
