US rebar pricing remains unchanged into late August
Buying activity in US domestic rebar markets continues to slow down through the end of August, with many market participants taking a break from trading ahead of the Labor Day holiday weekend.
"Not much has changed in the [rebar] market over this past month. Mills have kept quiet these past couple months, which is different than what is traditionally expected for summer, " notes a northeastern rebar distributor.
