Turkish scrap remains stable, suppliers raise targets
Almost all Turkish mills have kept their domestic scrap buying prices unchanged since last week. Imported scrap prices failed to record a recovery on fresh bookings, meanwhile.
On Wednesday, two deep-sea bookings were heard in the market. One Marmara mill bought UK-origin HMS 1&2 80:20 at $412/tonne cfr Turkey, while another is heard to have purchased the same grade from Venezuela at $413.5/t cfr.
