Turkish scrap market shows signs of softening
Scrap prices in Turkey have softened on fresh deals concluded from the EU.
Following US deals at $400/tonne cfr Turkey for HMS 1&2 90:10 and $396/t cfr for HMS 1&2 80:20 earlier last week, a European supplier has sold HMS 1&2 80:20 at $385/t cfr. Meanwhile, another European supplier is heard to have sold at average $393/t cfr.
