Turkish scrap faces further pressure amid buyer absence
Scrap prices in Turkey are facing further pressure as buyers are showing zero interest in scrap purchases.
All suppliers have at least one cargo to sell, with most having multiple cargoes in hand.
A Baltic supplier is heard targeting to sell at above $380/tonne cfr Turkey. A European supplier meanwhile offered HMS 1&2 80:20 at $380/t cfr, with some other suppliers in the region expressing readiness to sell at below this level.
