Turkish imported scrap edges up
Multiple deep-sea scrap bookings were heard in Turkey on Thursday.
A long steel mill in the south is confirmed to have bought US-origin cargo comprising 15,000 tonnes of shredded and 15,000t of bonus at $478.5/t cfr, for the first-half February shipment.
Another long steel mill in the south is confirmed to have bought US-origin cargo comprising 26,000t of HMS 1&2 85:15 at $472/t cfr and 4,000t of P&S at $487/t cfr, for February shipment.
