Taiwan scrap prices fall further on weak demand

Taiwanese scrap prices continue their downtrend this week amid a softening global scrap market and lower domestic demand. Kallanish assessed HMS 1&2 80:20 container scrap on Wednesday at $480/tonne cfr Taiwan, down by $10/t from last week.
