Taiwanese scrap gains on firm offers

Scrap prices in Taiwan have risen this week on the back of limited supplies and boosted steel sales. Taiwanese local steel mill Feng Hsin Iron & Steel has increased its rebar prices and scrap purchasing prices respectively by TWD 300/tonne ($9.69/t) and TWD 200/t this week.
