Saudi domestic scrap prices slide, align with rebar
Saudi Arabia's largest scrap trader and merchant billet producer, Al Qaryan, has confirmed the domestic benchmark mill scrap purchasing price for July deliveries, Kallanish learns.
Prices, on a delivered in Jubail basis, have been reduced by nearly SAR 270/tonne ($72) to SAR 1,680/t ($448) for HMS 80:20 grade scrap, shredded at SAR 1,725/t ($460) and premium at SAR 1,750/t ($466.6), Al Qaryan confirms.
