Samarco receives operating licence for mining expansion
Brazilian iron ore miner and pellet producer Samarco has received a Corrective Operation Licence (LOC) from Brazilian mining chamber CMI for the expansion of its activities, Kallanish notes.
The LOC allows the company to increase mining exploration at its Alegria Sul/Norte pits in the Germano Complex in Minas Gerais.
