Pakistan’s imported scrap plunges after brief recovery
After a week of slowed bookings, Pakistani scrap importers resumed purchasing from early last week. However, towards mid-week, political instability saw demand and prices of semi-finished and finished steel fall, thereby reducing scrap demand.
