Voestalpine buys Italian welding wire business
Voestalpine Böhler Welding, a subsidiary of the Metal Engineering Division of Voestalpine AG, is buying out the majority stake in Italian welding wire manufacturer Italfil to boost its presence in welding technology, Kallanish learns from the company.
“For Voestalpine, this acquisition expands the product portfolio, particularly in the semi and fully automated high-quality welding technology sector,” a company note says.
