Mineral Resources' iron ore shipments rise in Q2
Australian miner Mineral Resources saw its iron ore shipments increase 23% quarter-on-quarter to 4.8 million wet metric tonne (wmt) in the October to December quarter, Kallanish notes.
Mineral Resources says in a statement that its Yilgarn Hub shipments were strong, up 22% q-o-q to 2.07m wmt, following improved haulage operations. Shipments from the Pilbara Hub were also strong, up 23% q-o-q to 2.75m wmt, with improved load rates at the port.
