Kallanish proposes billet fob Turkey assessment discontinuation
Kallanish proposes to discontinue its billet fob Turkey price assessment.
The relevance of this price has declined significantly after Turkish billet exports – for HS code 720711 – reached only 83,018 tonnes in 2023, compared to 537,802t in 2022 and 906,565t in 2021.
Kallanish will review the scope for resuming the assessment in future if market conditions allow.
