Hoa Phat pipes enter Japanese retail chain
Hoa Phat, the leading steel producer in Vietnam, has recently shipped steel pipes to a major retail chain with over 1,200 stores in Japan for the first time, Kallanish notes.
These steel pipes are sold directly to Japanese consumers for a wide range of applications, such as to build garden trellises, wooden shelves, carports or to craft household items. More categories of pipe might be exported to Japan in 2024, the steelmaker says.
