Bowen Coking Coal to suspend mining at Bluff
Australian coal miner Bowen Coking Coal will suspend its Bluff Mine near Blackwater in Queensland for maintenance, Kallanish notes.
The coal miner says in a statement it will transit its Bluff Mine into care and maintenance by the end of November.
This is to respond to subdued pulverised coal injection (PCI) prices, higher costs of mining and continued lower-than-forecast production.
