AVTOVAZ to halt production amid components shortages
Russian carmaker AVTOVAZ has sent workers on early corporate holiday from Monday, which will last until 19 June, Kallanish notes. This was moved forward from 24 July due to a disruption in the supply of components from a number of suppliers.
According to the company, this decision will allow the carmaker to gain time and replace component suppliers, which will ensure more rhythmic work in the second half of 2023.
