Argentina's steel trade deficit narrows in 2023
Argentina saw its fourth-quarter finished steel trade deficit narrow quarter-on-quarter by 10,500 tonnes, or 9.6%, to 99,000t, Kallanish notes. The country remained a net importer in 2023, slightly reducing its finished steel trade deficit year-on-year.
