ArcelorMittal bags EU loan for carbon-reduction projects

The European Union (EU) is supporting ArcelorMittal with a European Investment Bank (EIB) loan to scale up breakthrough technology to reduce carbon emissions, the steelmaker tells Kallanish. The €75 million ($82.3m) loan is for two supported projects named Steelanol and Torero the company says.
