NICKEL: Brazilian exports show recovery signs in March
Brazilian nickel exports increased both month-on-month and year-on-year in March, according to a National Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic) report monitored by Kallanish. Cumulative shipments, however, remained weak.
Nickel exports were 38.2% higher m-o-m in March at 141,000 tonnes. The volume was also 41.3% higher when compared to the 99,500 t shipped abroad in the same period in 2020.
