Metals Company begins pilot undersea nodule collection, scientific review
The Metals Company says it is collecting metallic nodules from the bottom of the Pacific Ocean, with the pilot collection being closely monitored by environmental experts, Kallanish reports.
The collection is taking place in an area within the Clarion-Clipperton Zone between Hawaii and Mexico and is being observed by experts in a separate ship, the British Columbia-based company says.
