The Metals Company releases nodule mining lifecycle assessment
The Metals Company is releasing a new lifecycle assessment that says that its plan to mine metallic nodules from the floor of the Pacific Ocean would generally be environmentally superior to mining nickel, cobalt and copper on land, Kallanish reports.
