Yonggang commissions No.2 BF
Jiangsu Yonggang Group has commissioned the No. 2 1,320 cubic-metre blast furnace (BF) with the first batch of hot metal on 6 March, Kallanish notes.
The capacity of this BF is approximately 1.8 million tonnes/year according to news from Yonggang. Its ironmaking capacity replacement plan in 2019 showed that it planned to build three 1,320 cum BFs each with over 1.2m t/y capacity, according to the Industry and Information Technology Department of Jiangsu.
