Whitehaven Coal’s Daunia, Blackwater acquisitions become unconditional
Australian coal miner Whitehaven Coal’s $4.1 billion acquisition of the Daunia and Blackwater metallurgical coal mines in Queensland is now unconditional, Kallanish notes.
The firm says in a statement that all conditions precedent have now been satisfied to allow completion of its acquisition of 100% of the Daunia and Blackwater and all of the shares in South Blackwater Coal from BHP Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA).
