Vietnamese bid higher for Chinese commercial HRC
The Vietnamese market for commercial quality hot rolled coil imports is more active than for rerolling HRC imports, Kallanish notes. Consequently, the commercial HRC import market has firmed whereas the rerolling HRC market is stagnant. The market is booking only Chinese material. There are no offers from other Asian mills including Japan, Korea, Taiwan and India.
