Canada increases steel exports to US
Despite a decrease in total longs imports, the US increased imports for most steel categories from Canada in January from December, Kallanish learns.
Flat products increased to 316,549 tonnes in January from 288,260t in December. Pipes and tubes jumped to 77,739t from 55,233 in January from December, semifinished products climbed to 48,508t from 32,316t.
