US December scrap trading continues, prices up
Scrap prices in the US are not yet settled for December trading as negotiations are still underway, Kallanish understands from market participants.
Trading, which kicked off strongly on 6 December with a Midwest mill’s bids for December-delivered prime and shredded scrap at $50/gross ton and P&S at $30/gt higher versus November, continued on Monday.
