EU’s Ukraine-origin semis imports drop sequentially in October
Ukraine has reduced semi-finished products shipments to the EU amid the ongoing Russian invasion and blockade of seaports, Kallanish notes.
In January-October, the EU reduced imports of semis from Ukraine by 11.6% on-year to 856,200 tonnes, according to Eurostat data. In monetary terms, intake decreased by 29.3% to €448.2 million ($492m).
