Turkish pipe quotes increase slightly amid uncertainty

Turkish pipe producers have kept their export quotes mostly firm this week, as they are facing uncertainties regarding their hot rolled coil feedstock purchases from Asia. Some have even slightly increased their offers. Pipemakers’ official offers for electric resistance welded (ERW) pipe made from S235-grade HRC were seen on Thursday mostly at $725-755/tonne ex-works theoretical weight, up $5/t from the low end of last week’s range.
