Turkish pipe quotes fall amid weak demand
Turkish pipe producers have decreased their export offers this week due to weak demand and lower hot rolled coil prices.
Pipemakers’ official offers for electric resistance welded (ERW) pipe made from S235-grade HRC were seen on Thursday mostly at $675-700/tonne fob Turkey theoretical weight, down from $690-710/t a week earlier.
However, lower prices were also available from some producers that have more competitive production costs.
