Turkish longs producers resist bids amid costlier scrap
Turkish long steel producers are resisting lowering their prices due to higher scrap values.
On Thursday, Turkish mills’ official quotes stood mostly at $590-600/tonne fob Turkey actual weight for rebar and $600-610/t fob for mesh-quality wire rod, unchanged from last week.
