Tosyali Algerie, Feraal sign concentrate plant agreement
Tosyali Algerie has signed a memorandum of understanding with Algerian state-owned ferrous group Entreprise Nationale de Fer et de l’Acier (Feraal) to establish a joint venture iron ore beneficiation unit in Bechar.
The plant is scheduled to be commissioned within two years and will produce 500,000 tonnes/year of iron ore concentrate from iron ore shipped from the recently commissioned Gara-Djebilet (Tindouf) mine near the border with Mauritania.
