TMK produces thick-walled semi-finished pipe
Russian pipemaker TMK’s Pervouralsk Novotrubny Plant (PNTZ) has developed new technology for the production of thick-walled semi-finished pipe used to make drill joints, the company says.
The firm has already manufactured and shipped more than 3,300 tonnes of the new product to a customer, Kallanish notes.
The semi-finished pipe is made of alloyed chromium-molybdenum steel grades, with an outer diameter of 117-174mm and inner diameter of 45-85.1mm. It …
