Teck Resources expects met coal price hit
Canadian mining firm Teck Resources expects to report negative provisional pricing adjustments of C$191 million ($138.8m) in the third quarter due to the decline in steelmaking coal prices during the quarter, Kallanish notes.
The group's third quarter steelmaking coal sales were 5.6 million tonnes, within its revised guidance of 5.5 – 5.9 million tonnes.
