Tata files SDF loan waiver petition
Indian steelmaking major Tata Steel has filed a written petition seeking the waiver of loans availed from the Steel Development Fund (SDF), notes Kallanish. The company is challenging a rejected representation by the Ministry of Steel under this written petition.
The writ petition was admitted to court and taken up for hearing by the Calcutta High Court on 2 April. The case hearing will continue till 8 April, Tata Steel says in a exchange filing.
