Indian iron ore giant raises prices, demand positive
Indian iron ore major NMDC has hiked its iron ore fines and lump prices by INR 200/tonne ($2) and INR 300/t respectively for May, Kallanish reports.
The miner has fixed prices of lump ore (10-40mm, Fe 65.5%) at INR 6,000/t ($72) and of iron ore fines (-10mm, Fe64%) at INR 5,260/t ($63) on an for basis from its Bacheli complex in Chhattisgarh, India.
Prices include royalty, DMF (District Mineral Foundation) and NMET (National Mineral Exploration Trust) charges.
