Stainless scrap prices hike in France

Stainless steel scrap prices in France are increasing compared to August, in line with international price hikes. This comes after nickel values and other raw materials prices increased significantly this month. Mills are now paying €1,650-1,660/tonne ($1,942-1,953) ex-works for grade 304 to be delivered this month. Buyers pay €20-40/t for transport depending on point of delivery and departure, sources say.
