Severstal starts wire rod production for nuclear industry

Severstal has started production of a new type of wire rod at its flagship Cherepovets Metallurgical Plant (CherMK) for the manufacture of high-strength reinforcing ropes used in the nuclear industry, the company tells Kallanish.
