BMZ increases steel output in first quarter
Byelorussian Steel Works (BMZ) increased steel production in the first quarter, the plant’s deputy general director, Vladimir Chaus, said at a meeting with employees.
Output amounted to almost 530,000 tonnes, up by 17% on-year, Kallanish notes. In March alone, production was 11.4% more on-year to 220,000t.
