Severstal resumes sheet for LDP production
Severstal has resumed shipments of sheet from the hot rolling mills at its Cherepovets Metallurgical Plant (CherMK) to Russian pipe enterprises for the production of large-diameter pipe (LDP), the company tells Kallanish.
Close cooperation with pipe enterprises made it possible to resume production of K56 strength class sheet from mill 2800 and achieve successful production and shipments of pipe in diameters of 720mm and 820mm, the enterprise claims.
