Severstal develops innovative fire-resistant steel for construction
Russian steelmaker Severstal is ready to start serial production of S390P high-strength rolled products for the construction industry, the company tells Kallanish.
Production of these fire-resistant rolled products is taking place in sheet-rolling shops No.1 and No.2 at its flagship Cherepovets Metallurgical Plant (CheMK).
Design samples were bench tested at the All-Russian Research Institute of Fire Defence of Russia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations.
