NLMK Group appoints new chief
Sergey Karataev has been elected president and chief executive of Russia's NLMK Group effective 12 January, following the extraordinary general meeting held on 6 January, according to a company statement.
For more than 20 years, Karataev was a member of senior management at a number of large Russian and international companies, including Freight One, NLMK, Novartis International AG, and Rostselmash.
He replaces Grigory Fedorishin, Kallanish notes.
