Second-quarter ferrochrome benchmark price grows: Merafe
South Africa-listed mining company Merafe Resources Ltd (MRL) has advised its stakeholders that the European benchmark ferrochrome price for the second quarter has increased 5.6% to $1.52/lb, from $1.44/lb in Q1, notes Kallanish.
The average European ferrochrome benchmark price was $1.562/lb in 2023, which represents a decrease of 14.5% from 2022.
