Saudi domestic scrap supply eases, billet quotes stable
Saudi Arabian domestic scrap supply has increased this week, which slightly pulled down domestic scrap prices. Billet quotes in the local market have been unchanged since the start of the month.
This week, excluding VAT, delivered HMS 80:20 grade scrap is quoted at SAR 1,500/tonne ($400) in Jeddah, SAR 1,550-1,600/t in Riyadh and SAR 1,650-1,680/t in Dammam, Kallanish notes.
