Russian billet, rod quotes surge amid scrap uptrend

Russian billet quotes have increased on imported scrap price gains in Turkey, market participants inform Kallanish. The Russian rouble softened to 92.03 per $1 on Friday compared to 90.67:$1 a week earlier, availing an additional gain for exporters of around $15/tonne.
